2008 Shafer Cabernet Sauvignon Hillside Select
Dark and deep ruby red. A bit aged and damp on the nose with layers of herbs, cinnamon, baking spices, cassis and a little herbal like eucalyptus. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. A touch earthy on the palate with well rounded notes of blackberries and cinnamon. Long and lingering finish.
