Tasting Note:June 3, 2017

Pale medium yellow. Mute to start on the nose with just a touch of creamy and toasty notes. Opened up with something almost like baked apples, some white floral notes, hay and some stone fruits. Tangy and heavy acidity (8/10) that mellowed out over a few hours and the following day. Became nicely rounded with a medium body. Citrus notes on the attack with others a bit of oak influence, making as touch of lemon curd. Long finish.

This is a blend of 57.5% Chardonnay, 17% Grenache Blanc, 2.4% Ribolla Gialla, 1.5% Roussanne and 1.5% Greco di Tuffo. All whole cluster pressed and barrel fermented. Aged for 15 months in 80% used French oak, 10% Stainless Steel and 10% Concrete Egg. Only 290 cases produced.
