2007 Luddite Shiraz

Deep garnet red. Very dirty and savory attack on the nose, with notes of smoke, wood, meat and pepper. Additional spices, forest floor and a touch of cinnamon with some air in the glass. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium body. Red cherries on the attack of the palate, with notes of damp leaves, a touch of cinnamon and woody. Wet stones in the medium plus to long finish. Drinking in its peak right now, will last another two years.
Made of 100% Shiraz and aged in 25% new French/Hungarian oak barrels. (95% of all barrels were French, the rest were Hungarian). Bottle number 7,071 of 23,000.
