Deep ruby red. Dark cocoa on the nose with a slightly savory undertones. A touch earthy and light baking spices. Some more green peppers on day two. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus body. Layered palate with black cherries, cassis, raspberries, and a touch dark with light blue fruits. Slightly dry with a medium plus finish.
This is a 'Right Bank' inspired Bordeaux blend made up of 35% Merlot, 34% Cabernet Franc, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Malbec. Aged for 18 months in 83% new French oak barrels. Only 750 cases produced.
