Second of the blind reds for this quarter's S&E Wine Club. Theme was Chardonnays for white wine and red wines you can purchase at grocery stores.

Dark ruby with a purplish hue. Sweet spices on the nose with some black fruits, yet restrained. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium bodied. Lots of oak on the palate with light dark fruits. Dry and long finish. Definite potential but needs some more time to integrate and develop.

Made of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and 1% Petite Sirah. Aged for 18 months in 25% new French oak barrels. 30,000 cases produced.
