Tasting Note:April 22, 2017

Deep purplish ruby red. A little simple on the nose with notes of cassis, black currants, herbs, chalk, and wood. Moderate drying tannins (5.5/10) and hits more near the back of the palate. Fruit forward on the palate with red berries, woody and strong acidity. Will be interesting to see where this goes. Medium bodied and dry medium plus finish.

Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 16 months in 30% new French oak.
