2013 Galerie Pleinair Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Napa Valley, California, United States of America
Tasting Note:April 12, 2017
Deep ruby red. Rich and dark nose with layers of cocoa, cassis, dark red berries, dark gravel, tobacco leaves and some dark floral notes. Tannic backbone (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Layers of black currants, bramble berries, spices, and a hint of eucalyptus or mint in the finish. Dark minerality in the long dry finish. Very young and will definitely improve with time.
