Loved this wine exchange with Shay, always fun to discover boutique estates in the Valley. Deep ruby red with purplish hues. Lovely and complex nose with layers of black currant, cassis, cedar, cinnamon, vanilla, a little spices and a touch of floral notes. Even a touch of blackberries, dust and dark cocoa as it opened up. Needed some time to open up, this is a baby. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied. Layered with tons of structure and notes of graphite, cassis, black currants, dark gravel, and dark cocoa. A touch dry and lingering finish, around 30 seconds plus.
