Clear and light yellow. Layered nose with notes of peaches, tropical fruits and a bit grassy too. Great attack, moderate acidity (5/10) and very dry medium finish. Soft notes on the palate like stone fruits. Dryness lingers.
Sauvignon Blanc-based wine with 94% Sauvignon Blanc and 6% Semillon. The name Fumé Blanc comes from a blend of words like the varietal, Sauvignon Blanc, and the region, Pouilly-Fumé. Majority of the fruit comes from Wappo Hill Vineyard, now on Realm Cellars Estate, at 63% and another 17% from the To Kalon Vineyard. Aged for 9 months in 60-gallon French oak barrels sûr lie. 54,528 cases produced.
