Inaugural vintage of Covert Estate. Deep ruby red. Tons of baking spices on the nose, especially cinnamon with dark berries. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Dark cocoa with tons of black and dark red fruits, and a bit of chalk as well. Long and lingering finish.
