Loving these Cabernet Francs from Coombsville. Dark ruby red. Lovely nose with perfumey and floral notes. Even some black berries and cherries. Moderate tannins (7/10) with great acidity lining up the structure. Some softer dark fruits coating the full body and long finish.

All the fruit comes from the Caldwell Estate Vineyard. Made of 95% Cabernet Franc, 3% Carménère, and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in 100% new French oak. Only 79 cases produced and 15.3% alcohol.
