Tasting Note:February 20, 2017

Deep and dark ruby red. Quite a tight nose with just a little bit of dust, dark cassis, black cherries and a little stinky. Rounded attack with moderate tannins (7/10) that hit the mid palate and medium bodied. Elegant with floral notes, dark fruits, black cherries and currants. A little bit of heat that diminished around an hour in. Long finish. Needed the decant.

Cabernet Sauvignon based blend made up of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. Aged 22 months in 92% new French oak.
