Tasting Note:December 7, 2017

Deep ruby red. A bit of pencil shavings, dark plums, and spices. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Dry on the palate with black cherries, dark spices and a little bit of earthiness. Medium to medium plus finish.

The Joyful Angel is one of the four labels on the 2014 Holiday Blends. They are the 1. Joyful Angel, 2. Snowflake Dancers, 3. Toy Soldier and 4. Reindeer Magic (only on magnums - $185.00). This vintage is made up of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Petit Verdot and 17% Syrah. Aged for 18 months in 90% French oak barrels. Around 330 cases produced.
