Tasting Note:November 2, 2017

Bright purplish ruby red. Lovely nose with anise, floral, and dark red berries. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Lots of dark characteristics and sweet spices. Long and limbering finish.

If similar to the 2013 vintage this is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from 3 different vineyards. 60% of the fruit comes from the Spring Mountain District, 20% each from Howell Mountain and Diamond Mountain District. Aged in 80% new French oak for two years, of which one year was for separate fermentation.
