2009 Panther Creek Temperance Hill Pinot Noir
Tasting Note:November 23, 2017
First red for our thanksgiving meal. Light to medium garnet red with bricking. Love the nose with about 30 minutes of air, a bit gamey, smokey, red berries, floral notes and some damp leaves. Light tannins (4/10) and medium acidity (5.5/10). Well balanced with roses, purple flowers, red cherries and some dried herbs. Medium plus finish.
Made up of 100% Pinot Noir and aged for 16 months in 30% new French oak barrels. Only 200 cases produced.
