Tasting Note:October 20, 2017

Deep and dark ruby red with a purplish core. Lovely nose with notes of cinnamon, roses, coconut, black berries and purple flowers. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Sweet spices on the palate and a bit of oakiness. Layers of dark berries and cherries leading to a medium plus finish.

Made up of 100% Cabernet Franc from a single block on the Komes Ranch in Rutherford. Aged for 22 months in 21% new French oak barrels. Only 235 cases produced. Label designed by San Francisco illustrator Jeremy Fish.
