Tasted this alongside the 2013 CF from Newberry Wines. Medium to light intensity of crimson and garnet red. Thick dark cherries and tart blackberries on the nose, even a little cola. Slightly dirty undertone with a little cheese. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and a little smoother than the 13. Very light greenery and savory notes. Mainly covered with red cherries and quite a bit of acidity. Medium bodied with a long and dry finish.
Made of 100% Cabernet Franc from the eastern hillside of Rutherford at an elevation of 800 feet. Beautiful label made by artisit, Andrea Jalaty.
