2015 Troika Wines Sauvignon Blanc

Light greenish yellow in appearance. Fresh nose with notes of lychee, melon some oak and stone fruits. Medium acidity (6/10) with a light plus to medium body. Fresh and crisp on the palate with a touch of sweetness. Notes of white peaches, apricot, mild nuttiness, pineapple and a touch of minerality. Medium plus to long finish.
Last winery on day two in Sonoma was Troika Wines with Jeff, Noel and Ari. First up was their Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc which comes from two vineyards up near Calistoga.

$$ - Tasted at the winery with Noel, Jeff and Ari. Release price is $28.00.Bright medium yellow. Lots of lychee, white pears and apricots on the nose. Slightly sweet with acacia floral notes too. Day two this wine gained some more complexity with notes of honey suckle, green apples, melon, citrus and star fruit. Lovely tart medium acidity (7.5/10) and light plus to medium bodied. Some green apples, melon, white and stone fruits on the palate. Keeps adding complexity as it warms up. Solid minerality as well. Medium plus finish.
