Tasting Note:May 13, 2016

Last of the three non-reds sent to us by Chris. Clear pale yellow. Very complex nose, started off with some slight hay, pears and almond paste or marzipan. Slight undertone of orange peels. Palate attacked with tropical fruits and some wet grass. After opening up for a few hours it got very sweet with a similar note to the nose, of marzipan. Moderate acidity (5/10) that starts mid palate and rolls off. Very creamy in texture almost like butter. Moderate finish. Overall a ton of marzipan or what we are thinking is marzipan. Hopefully it softens with some air.
