2014 Lightning Wines CdP Blanc

Beautifully crisp and refreshing. Inviting pale yellow and clear. Very clean on the nose coated with orange peels and lemon curd, absolutely no greenery. Crisp lemon and other citrus fruits with moderate plus acidity. Nicely integrated with the moderate body. Very refreshing with a long finish that had some notes of wet stones and lime, almost like key lime pie. One of our favorite white wines this year. We could easily see ourselves picking up a few bottles of this in the future!
This wine is a field blend of 44% Grenache Blanc, 32% Piquepol Blanc and 24% Roussanne. Made in a Rhone-style this wine is a must try for people who want to try more wines in that style, want to try new varietals or people who love complex white wines!
