Second Alban Patrina we have tried. Expectations were very high since the 08 we tried. Deep purplish ruby red. Love the nose on day one with olive tapenade, dark cherries, slightly savory with some undertones of gunpowder and graphite. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Olive undertones and some light tomato. Black and dark fruits with a mix of cherries and plums. Light pencil shavings and cassis in the finish. Slight heat too. Long and lingering finish.
