Solid crimson red and very clear. Very tight on the nose, lots of leaves. Very soft anise seeds and light fruits. Starts to develop more fruity notes as it open up. A little savory to start on the palate. Slight dark chocolate. Adds in some dark blackberries with air. Moderate tannins (6/10) and moderate body. Moderate to low finish with a little heat. Needs a couple years to fully integrate. Enjoyable more savory merlot. Attack had a heavier body than the finish. Could improve a couple points with time.

Merlot-led blend made up of 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc..
