2008 Haskell Vineyards Cape Winemakers Guild Paradigm
Region: Stellenbosch, Coastal Region, Western Cape, South Africa
Tasting Note:December 17, 2015
Dark ruby red. Thick cassis and dark fruits on the nose. Very fruity for a South African, split directly in the middle between a fruit-forward Napa styled Cabernet and a dryer French Bordeaux. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) with a moderate body. Was spectacular with the cheese. Slightly dry finish and long. Note to self, cheese wine, have before food. Insanely great value, wish we had more space.
