1999 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon John Riddoch
Tasting Note:May 8, 2016
Deep and dark garnet core with some brown edges. Completely coats the glass. Nose was coated in chalk, dirty, earthy notes and vegetal notes. Earthy and rustic notes coated the palate. Some cherry and vegetal notes too. Moderate tannins (6/10) with some furry acidity and moderate body. Slightly dry and long finish. More powerful than the 2003 but not as complex as it.
Made entirely of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and is made in small quantities of only the best quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes on the Estate. Tasted along side the 2003 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon John Riddoch.
