2007 Agharta Wines Exhibit C

Thank goodness this was not like the last bottle we opened last year, which was definitely corked. Deep garnet red with ruby hues. Tons of blue fruits, cherry cola, cinnamon and plums on the nose. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and strong acidity. A bit of alcohol on the palate that is not fully integrated into the wine yet. Notes of berries on the palate with a savory undertone, some tobacco, spices and eucalyptus. Medium plus to long finish.
Exhibit C is a Bordeaux blend made up of 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. Aged in 60% new French oak barrels (Darnajou) for 30 months. Only 176 cases produced.
