2016 March Wines Rosé of Pinot Noir

Tasting Note:June 10, 2017

Megenta pinkish red. Quite savory on the nose with notes some gamey and dirty notes. Some red berries too as it opened up and a touch tropical. High acidity (7/10) and light plus body. Layers of thick strawberries, almost creamy with some citrus too.

This bottling is from the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA that is 1,000 feet above the Salinas River Valley in Monterey County. This was fermented and aged for a short period in stainless steel barrels. Made of 100% Pinot Noir.
