Last of the blind tasting for Father's Day weekend.
Deep garnet red. Tons of tomato on the nose straight from the bottle, finally after five hours or so it really started to open up with toasty notes, earthy, woody, a touch green, dark red fruits, forest floor, and a touch of damp leaves. Layered and powerful. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Dark fruits and sweet spices, solid mountain berries too. Cherries, woody and oaky notes. A touch green as well. Long and lingering finish.
Made up of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
