2016 Lauren Ashton Cellars Cuvée Méline

Medium pale yellow. Lovely layers on the nose with white floral notes, honeysuckle, white peaches, tropical and citrus notes. Moderate acidity (6.5/10) and well balanced. Medium bodied and crisp. Very refreshing. Layered palate with tons of citrus and topical notes. A touch of oak too. Long and lingering finish.
Delicious white Bordeaux blend by Kit from Lauren Ashton Cellars. Made up of 55% Semillon and 45% Sauvignon Blanc. Aged in one third new French oak, one third neutral and one third stainless steel. The barrel portion was on the lees which added to the weight of the wine. Delicious and refreshing white wine. Only 300 cases produced and 13.5% alcohol.
