2015 Château de Campugent 1753 Rosé

Estate: Château de Campugent

Region: Costières-de-Nîmes, Southern Rhône, Rhône, France

Tasting Note:March 04, 2017

Bright pale peachy orange. Layered and clean nose with stone fruits, peaches, citrus and lots of white floral notes. Moderate acidity (6/10) and light to light plus bodied. Crisp and fresh on the palate with notes of strawberries, red fruits, peaches, kiwi, apricot and even a touch of minerality near the finish. Dry and long finish.

Made of 80% Syrah and 20% Vermentino. Very interesting cork on this bottle called a 'Vinolok' closure. Made of glass and is supposed to age slowly and no risk of TCA.
