Staying #SonomaProud this weekend with this bottling from Campesino Cellars. Deep yellow. Lush and layered nose with oaky elements, honey, a bit floral and some white fruits too. Heavy acidity (7/10) and full bodied. Still a bit of heat with creamy notes and lots of fruits. Both stone and tropical. Long finish.

Not as fresh as the last time we had this. Medium to deep yellow. Rich and lush on the nose, some oaky influence with notes of honey, and hay. Layers of white fruits too. Moderate acidity (6.5/10) and full bodied. Thick with a touch of heat on the palate. A bit creamy on the attack with a long finish and notes of kiwi, and peaches.

Second wine we have tried from Campesino and Macario. Bright medium gold with medium viscosity. Nose was warm and inviting, a little dirty with some burnt hay notes. Layered with some nice tropical fruits and golden apples. Love the texture on the palate, even a little creamy with a great structure and backbone. Lively moderate acidity (6/10) and medium bodied. Some creamy apple notes with meyer lemon and a little stone fruits. Slight minerality in the long and lingering finish. Beautiful wine that only added complexity as it opened, especially tropical notes. Need to reach out to Macario and see if there are any more available. Stunning QPR and must buy.
