2015 Quivet Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Tasted side by side with the 15 Becklyn NV and 15 Myriad NV.
Dark purplish ruby red. Dark spices, dark berries, minerality and a touch floral. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and full bodied. A touch of heat on the palate, layered with blackberries, spices and a touch of something smoked. Long and lingering finish.
Very interesting comparison with this bottling and between the 2015 Becklyn Cabernet Sauvignon (first time we tried this entry level bottling....does not taste entry level) and the 2015 Myriad Cabernet Sauvignon. The Quivet is definitely a robust offering with a touch of heat that will hopefully disapate with time. Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.

$$ - Purchased through our allocation for $66.00.Dark purplish red. Layered and voluptuous nose with purple flowers, blueberries, blackberries, sweet spices and a touch of bark. Medium tannins (6/10) and full bodied. So much dark fruit and spices on the palate, delicious. I can see this will be stunning with a few hours in a decanter.
Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
