Deep ruby red. Started off a bit soft with some dark berries and cinnamon on the nose. With an hour or so in the glass it gained complexity with darker notes, blackberries, sweet spices and a bit almost like coconut. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Rich palate with layers of blackberries, cassis, vanilla, more sweet spices, cigar box, a touch of bramble berries and rich gravel. Long and lingering finish. Perfect wine for our 8th Anniversary.
