2014 Lauren Ashton Cellars Riesling

First of the wines from Lauren Ashton Cellars from out in Woodinville, WA. Wine was a crystal clear pale yellow. Nose was a little tight to start but then opened up with some citrus fruits and white peaches. Some slight undertones of wet grass and stones. Off-dry on the palate. Definitely has some green apples on the palate along side some moderate plus acidity and a light body. Delicious when chilled and could easily see this with some Thai food.
This wine is 100% Riesling and has a residual sugar content of 0.4%. Only 292 cases produced. This would be perfect for some Thai food!
