2014 Incendium Wines Chardonnay

Estate: Incendium Wines
Region: Carneros, Napa Valley, California, United States of America
Vineyards: Incendium Estate and Deer Park Vineyards

Tasting Note:June 1, 2016

Clear golden yellow. Nose started out with some light buttery notes, almost like a shortbread cookie. Some light hay and a little toasted. Nice Apple undertones to pull it together. Thick and opulent on the palate but not overpowering just powerful. Balanced buttery notes with some honeysuckle, light citrus and banana undertones. Moderate acidity (5.5/10) and full bodied white. Moderate plus finish. Very enjoyable, one of our favorite Chardonnays with butter on the palate.
