First time trying the 2007 and still showing some fleshiness in its youth. Deep and dark purplish ruby red. Dark and rich fruits with baking spices, bramble berries, blackberries, baking spices, and pencil shavings. Medium plus tannins (7/10) with balanced acidity and full bodied. Layered palate with black fruits, dark spices, gravel and dark cherries. Long and lingering finish.

Our third Napa Cabernet bottling of the evening was this Buccella Cuvée Katrina Eileen Cabernet Sauvignon. Made out of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards on the western side of Yountville. Aged for around 20 months in 100% new French oak.
