Thanks Shay for the wine swap, I have not tried any of their higher end bottlings, very nice treat!
Deep ruby red with garnet edges. Dark plums, cassis and spices on the nose that started to get a bit darker with time in the glass. Medium tannins (6/10) and balanced acidity. A touch of spices, black cherries, black fruits and anise. Medium bodied and long finish.
This is made up of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petite Sirah and 5% Merlot. Aged for 22 months in 98% French oak and 2% American oak barrels. Only 578 cases produced.
