2013 Jon Nathaniel Wines Cabernet Sauvignon Windfall Vineyard
Tasting Note:July 10, 2016
Mix of crimson and ruby red core with garnet edges. Very tight even on day two. Slight dust with some soft dark berries, dark spices and a little spearmint. Fruit forward attack, red cherries, that dissipates to complex spices. Moderate tannins (7/10) with no heat, just a furry texture. Medium body with a moderate finish. Quite a bit of acidity but smooth and rounded.
