Tasting Note:August 07, 2016

First wine of our second trip to Napa. 100% Syrah made by Scalon's new winemaker Julien Fayard. Clear pale peachy pink. Refreshing and lively nose with notes of peach, strawberries and some lighter white fruits. Great acidity (6/10) throughout. Smooth and well integrated with similar notes on the palate. Light body and long lingering finish. Very French in style.
