Fifth wine tasted at Afton Mountain Vineyards. Dark ruby red with light purple hues. Complex nose with notes of black pepper, raspberries, and some herby undertones. Elegant palate with black cherries and softer dark fruits. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) with a medium body. Long finish and very enjoyable. Our favorite out of the Afton Mountain lineup.
