Aslin Beer Company & Threes Brewing Cheap Trick India Pale Lager

Breweries: Aslin Beer Company and Threes Brewing

Regions: Herndon, Virginia and Brooklyn, New York, within the United States of America

Tasting Note:July 26, 2018

Cloudy and opaque warm yellow with a light orange/brown hue and a medium foamy head. Love the nose straight from the can with notes of citrusy hops, pine needles, and a little tropical. Medium plus to full bodied with a mix of malty sweetness, balanced hops and perfect level of bitterness. A little bit of citrus coming through on the palate with some zesty herbs. Long and lingering finish. Sort of a mix between a nice hoppy IPA and a refreshing Lager. India Pale Lager fits it well.

Couldn't help myself, after waiting over 30 minutes in line to purchase beer at a brewery I just had to see what it was all about. Brewed with all Virginia malt and hopped with Riwaka, Motueka and Citra Lupulin. Alcohol level of 6.8% and just released. From what we have heard the label is more along the lines of Threes Brewing than Aslin Beer Company. Love this lager. Drank out of a one pint can (16 oz).
